Take a train to Keelung Station. After leaving the station, transfer to a Keelung City Bus at the adjacent bus terminal.

By Keelung City Bus
From the bus terminal beside Keelung Station, take route 103 toward Badouzi or route 104 toward Xinfeng Street. Get off at NTOU Gymnasium or NTOU Main Gate. Travel time is approximately 20–25 minutes.
Direct Highway Coach from Taipei
Take route 1579 from Yuanshan Transfer Station. The service stops at Zhongxiao Fuxing, Zhongxiao Dunhua, Songshan High School, and other stops before reaching NTOU Seaside Gate. Travel time is approximately 40–50 minutes.

Route 101 toward Heping Island stops at Zhongzheng Road Junction. Routes 108 toward Badouzi via Chaojing Park and 791 between Guojia Xincheng and Fulong serve stops near NTOU's Xiangfeng Gate, Seaside Gate, or Gymnasium.

Driving
The campus can be reached via National Freeway No. 1 or Provincial Highway 62.
Via National Freeway No. 1
After exiting Daye Tunnel northbound, keep to the outer lane and follow signs for Yilan, the Coastal Highway, and National Taiwan Ocean University. Continue on Zhongzheng Road, turn right onto Xiangfeng Street, then right onto Beining Road to reach the Seaside Gate.
Via Provincial Highway 62
Recommended when arriving from National Freeway No. 3 or New Taipei City. Exit at Ruifang toward Badouzi and the Coastal Highway, continue to the end of Tiaohe Street, then turn left onto Beining Road. The campus is approximately three minutes away.

- Parking for less than 30 minutes is free. Stays longer than 30 minutes but shorter than one hour are charged as one hour; subsequent partial periods shorter than 30 minutes are charged as 30 minutes.
